Master of Arts in Expressive Arts Therapy

The Expressive Arts Institute is a contracted course providing Partner Institute of the Division Arts, Health & Society at the European Graduate School EGS in Switzerland and offers in cooperation with the Division the Master of Arts in Expressive Arts Therapy with a minor in psychology (M.A.), a unique comprehensive artistic, practical and theoretical academic training.

The Masters Program is designed as modularized part-time training in intensive weekend seminars in Berlin and summer residencies at the EGS Switzerland.

The academic year in Berlin runs from September until May.

Module K Intermodal Art is the foundation Module for all Expressive Arts qualification areas. Participants can take it also with an interest in the Master of Arts in Expressive Arts Coaching and Consulting (M.A.) and Master of Arts in Expressive Arts Peace Building and Conflict Transformation (M.A.).

Certificate Expressive Arts Facilitation

The 1st academic year Module K Intermodal Art can be completed as a Certificate Expressive Arts Facilitation. It is designed also as Continuing Education for professionals who wish to expand their work through the integrative use of the Arts. The Certificate Expressive Arts Facilitation introduces to the principles of the different art modalities and trains the core Intermodal Expressive Arts methods.

Certificate Expressive Arts Advanced Practice CAP

The 2nd academic year continues to build upon the first year with emphasize on Intermodal Expressive Arts theoretical foundations, advanced methodologies and project development. It combines the content of Module F and Module P in a comprehensive and practicaI way.

The Certificate Expressive Arts Advanced Practice CAP is designed to deepen the understanding of Intermodal Expressive Arts and trains the participants in the professional application of the Intermodal Expressive Arts in various areas.

Both Certificate Expressive Arts Qualifications can be studied and completed independently from the M.A. In combination with previous Graduate Degrees, their Credits can count as Modules towards the Masters and offer the option to continue with the Master in Expressive Arts Therapy at the European Graduate School EGS.
